The history of the building, which is a restaurant since 2001, began as early as 1871. Built as a barn at that time, today you can spend comfortable hours in our dining room with a tasty meal.

Previously used as a clubhouse, in July 2001, after the building of the kitchen and the utility areas, the opening of the Burgschänke could be celebrated.

Since its opening, the Burgschänke is run by Christiane Khalert former known as Reber. Who has been actively supported by her husband, Thorsten Kahlert, since the 2018 wedding. Heinrich Reber, father of Christiane Kahlert, had run and shaped the Burgschänke also since the opening till he passed away.
